My ceramic installations explore hidden connections to the natural world not only visually, but also aurally. I create pieces that talk about listening as a vital part of experiencing life and art. Creatures, plants, cities and architecture, are all speaking. If we can open our ears then we can open our minds and discover something beautiful that is often overlooked. I believe we should embrace the vibrations of sound, light, shape and space as one holistic experience. I am interested in expanding the sensorial reach of ceramics and hope to engage the public with an imaginative way of looking at clay (with our ears).
