Dorothy Amore Pilla has Work in Several Venues

 

Dorothy Amore Pila has been very busy lately, and has work entered in several venues in the area:

 

  • Dorothy had work accepted to the Winter Juried Show at the Art Complex in Duxbury (artcomplex.org). Her piece, Pennsylvania Impressions, was awarded third prize in the digital category. The show runs from February 5 through April 29, 2012, and the Art Complex hours are Wednesday – Sunday, 10:00 AM – 4:00 PM

 

  • In December Dorothy had 3 pieces accepted to Bursting Out, an on-line exhibition sponsored by the Women’s Caucus for Art-San Diego Chapter, (sdwca.org). Her entry, Continuum was awarded third prize.

 

  • Currently Dorothy also has 2 pieces in the Russell Gallery in Plymouth, MA. (plymouthguild.org). The Art Center and Russell Gallery are open Monday – Saturday, 10:00 AM – 4:00 PM,  Sunday noon – 4:00 PM.

Galatea Artists in Cambridge Art Association Show

Galatea artists Paula Estey, Ruth Segaloff and Jenny Lai Olsen have an exhibit of their work in a small group show sponsored by  the Cambridge Art Association. The exhibit runs from January 17 – February 20, 2012 at the University Place Gallery at 124 Mt Auburn Street in Harvard Square.

 

There will be a reception at the gallery on Friday January 20, from 5:30 to 7:30 PM.

 

 


CAPE COD IN WINTER

Gallery members Karen Klein, Marjorie Kaye and George Shaw have had their work accepted into the Brush Gallery and NESA Members Show 2011, at the Brush Gallery, 256 Market St. Lowell.
