Anni Lorenzini
Artist Statement:
The Lay of Land
These paintings emerge from a spontaneous exchange between process and place, yielding a rich detritus of paint oddments that form a corrugated topography in which autumn reds, winter blues, and spring greens intermingle on rutted ground to recall the living earth and passing skies.
